Nespresso Aeroccino Review

Steamed milk being poured into a latter

Pros: The Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother is easy to use and makes almost no noise.

Cons: The Nespresso Aeroccino is more expensive than other automatic milk frothers. There is also no way to adjust the temperature of the milk.

What is the Nespresso Aeroccino?

The Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother is an automatic milk frother designed to help you create the perfect latte or cappuccino. It works with hot or cold milk, skim milk or whole milk, and can even produce the perfect frothy soy milk.

The Nespresso Aeroccino is designed for use with single serve coffee machines.

In-Depth Nespresso Aeroccino Review

The Nespresso Aeroccino is essentially a chrome-plated mug with a non-stick coating on the inner walls and a frother attachment inside. It sits on a specialized base, which you plug into the wall.

In order to use the Nespresso Aeroccino, all you have to do is fill it with milk either to the minimum point or the maximum point (there are markers inside the mug to help you measure), close the mug, put it on the base and press a button.

At this point you'll notice one of the biggest advantages the Nespresso Aeroccino has over other milk frothers: it is almost completely silent.

About a minute later you'll have some delicious frothy milk you can add to your favorite caffeinated beverage. Pouring your frothed milk is easy thanks to a pour lip on the rim of the mug.

Cleaning your Nespresso Aeroccino is also remarkably easy thanks to the non-stick interior. All you have to do is rinse it out with hot water and a touch of soap.

Some customers have reported that if you keep the Aeroccino on the base (when the base is plugged in) for too long between uses it will overload and stop working, so it's best to keep your Aeroccino in a cupboard when not in use.

The Nespresso Aeroccino produces excellent frothy milk with very little mess or noise. The single button operation is friendly even to complete coffee newbies. It's also small enough to easily be stored in virtually any kitchen. It does cost more than other milk frothers, but it can still save you a long run in the fortune.

If you want the best of the best and you've got some money to invest in your coffee routine—between $60 and $80, depending on where you buy it—the Nespresso Aeroccino is an excellent purchase.
